Sunrise burns pink hope
promises, a new day dons
its merry greeting.
Echos of sleep dreams
fleeting glimpses of home hide
as I awaken
the cave celebrates
the moment glowing yellow,
no longer alone.
Chaos tastes strangely
when ladled by hand out of
pearl freshwater streams
The cave yawns open
on the grey rock candy grass,
pearl spring waters run
the cave mouth golden
warm and safe as I watched nymphs
play in the water.
Pebbles, like opals
shine underwater, blush hint
reflection of cotton
candy skies blessing.
Parting in friendly silence,
cautious bravery
as I embark down
towards the lighthouse, warmth at my
back, renewed with hope.
